Energy- and Asset-Manager (m/f/d)
Your duties:
- You are responsible for energy procurement and contract management.
- You develop, coordinate, and successfully implement energy concepts.
- Your tasks also include analyzing production processes and evaluating resulting technical and business optimization measures.
- You monitor changes in legal framework conditions and develop appropriate adaptation strategies accordingly.
- You optimize the operation and marketing of the plant.
- You actively trade positions on the futures, spot, and intraday markets and contribute to the further development of the trading strategy.
- You assess and plan the use of renewable energies.
- You monitor the market and develop economic analyses for marketing management.
- You develop business models for hydrogen trading.
- You are responsible for a sustainable, comprehensive energy management of the company and its properties.
- You take on the commercial control and development of the energy grids (electricity, gas) and assume the role of Asset Owner in our company.
- You regularly coordinate with the specialist departments.
Your qualifications:
- You have a technical, mathematical, or business-related university degree with a focus on energy economics or energy management, or an energy-related education with relevant professional experience.
- You possess mathematical and analytical expertise, a strong affinity for IT, and the ability to grasp complex processes and translate them into technical requirements.
- You have programming skills (Python, VBA, etc.) as well as knowledge in business administration and pricing in the energy sector.
- Having some initial professional experience in energy and project management will make it easier to start in this role.
- You have a natural talent for organization, goal-setting, and finding solutions.
- A structured and independent work approach is second nature to you.
- Ideally, you also have a technical affinity and knowledge in areas such as climate protection, renewable energies, energy efficiency, energy law, energy economics, and energy supply.
- You have a high willingness to learn and perform, and you enjoy working in a team.
