For the locations Berlin, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt am Main and Munich we are looking for our client, an international consultancy company, for at least one candidate (m/f/d) for each location for the position of:

Your duties

• As a (Senior) Data Scientist, you will lead challenging machine learning projects and strive to create value from data.
• You will develop data-driven solutions and insights for key business questions.
• Collaborating with other data analysts, data engineers, data scientists, and various client departments, you will find best-practice solutions to generate value from customer data.
• You will act as a data navigator for other client departments, optimizing marketing and sales campaigns, as well as business processes, with intelligent algorithms.
• You will develop concepts and roadmaps for data science projects and be responsible for their successful implementation.
• Analyzing vast internal data volumes, you will prepare data using state-of-the-art software tools and algorithms.
• You will transform and translate data into actionable implications and present your findings to key stakeholders.
• You are willing to contribute to making the client a leading data-driven company and enjoy working in an agile environment with diverse tasks.

Your qualifications:

• Master’s degree / Ph.D. in Information Technology or a related field such as Business Administration, Economics, Data Science, (Business) Informatics, (Business) Mathematics, or Statistics.
• Minimum of 4 years of practical work experience in the field of Data Science.
• Experience in consulting or project management is advantageous.
• Fluent in German and English; additional languages are considered a plus.
• Experience in successfully leading analytical projects and guiding non-data experts through the world of data and analytics.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one of the following languages/tools: SQL, R, Stata.
• Intellectual curiosity for the latest trends and opportunities based on future technological changes and a willingness to work outside of one’s comfort zone.
• Excellent analytical skills to find the best solution for each request, as well as a holistic business perspective to create value instead of numbers.
• Good knowledge in Advanced Analytics / Machine Learning.
• Enthusiasm for working with data combined with the ability to transform it into business-relevant insights and present results in an engaging manner for various audiences.
• The ability to share knowledge and work as a team that supports each other.
