Project Manager for Planning and Construction Execution in the 110 kV Transmission Network (m/f/d)

For our client, a regional energy supplier operating electricity, gas, water, and district heating networks, we are currently looking for a permanent full-time position to be filled as soon as possible:

Project Manager for Planning and Construction Execution in the 110 kV Transmission Network (m/f/d)

Your duties:

• You will manage, monitor, and coordinate our projects in network planning, particularly in the electricity sector, but also in multi-utility construction projects.
• This includes tasks such as defining project requirements, creating construction schedules in coordination with construction coordinators, reporting, quality control, cost and budget responsibility, and monitoring, etc.
• You will contribute to the development of medium-term and annual planning as well as budget control for investment and maintenance of networks and facilities.
• You will have a specific responsibility for the planning and construction execution in the 110 kV transmission network and will engage in communication with external stakeholders such as municipalities, engineering firms, and authorities.
• Additionally, as needed, you will also be involved in the planning and construction of substations and switchgear installations.
• You will take on investment and maintenance planning tasks, ensuring the adherence to relevant strategies and guidelines, even in the context of complex project assignments.

Your qualifications:

• Completed degree in electrical engineering, power engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in the planning and construction execution of 110 kV transmission networks.
• Solid technical understanding of high-voltage lines and systems.
• Experience in project management and team leadership Knowledge of relevant norms and regulations in the energy sector.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and strong organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in German and English for negotiations.
