OT Security Expert (Consultant) (m/f/d) – Remote within Germany

For a leading international manufacturer in the IT and OT security services sector, we are seeking—effective immediately—for a permanent position:

OT Security Expert (Consultant) (m/f/d) – Remote within Germany

Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on all matters related to OT and ICS security
• Perform risk analyses, security assessments, and gap analyses in OT environments
• Develop and implement security concepts for production and automation networks
• Support the introduction of security standards (e.g., IEC 62443, ISO 27019, NIS2)
• Technically assess and harden industrial control systems, networks, and components
• Support incident response and forensics processes in the OT context
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure a holistic security strategy
• Conduct training and awareness initiatives on OT security topics

Qualifications:

• Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automation engineering, IT security, or a comparable qualification
• Several years (3+ years) of experience in OT security, ICS, industrial networks, or critical infrastructure
• Sound knowledge of industry standards and protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC UA, Profinet, DNP3)
• Experience with risk analyses, network segmentation, and monitoring in production environments
• Analytical thinking, structured working style, and strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent German skills (at least C1) and good English skills
