Data Engineer (m/f/d)

For a leading provider in the financial sector based in North Rhine-Westphalia, we are looking to fill the following permanent, full-time position immediately:

Data Engineer (m/w/d)

Responsibilities:

• You will develop modern data solutions to support the business processes of our client and address analytical requirements.
• You will elevate our client’s data integration and transformation processes to the next level.
• You will be responsible for designing and developing data pipelines to efficiently process large volumes of data from heterogeneous source systems.
• This includes monitoring and optimizing both new and existing data integration processes.
• You will also be involved in operating the client’s data infrastructure platform and ETL landscape.
• You will actively shape the future of the client’s data platform on its journey to the cloud.

Qualifications:

• You have completed a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• You possess excellent knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and data historization concepts.
• You can demonstrate solid experience in the use of ETL tools, preferably Informatica PowerCenter.
• Ideally, you also have experience in automating ETL processes and their platform in the cloud.
• A strong affinity for infrastructure topics is advantageous.Strong team and communication skills are a must.
• You have German language skills at a minimum of C1 level.
