For our client, a leading recruitment agency with nine locations across Germany, currently experiencing rapid growth due to its business model and strong leadership structure—and, as one of the few recruitment companies this year, has greatly expanded both its market share and profits (at least six new locations in Germany are planned for next year)—we are currently seeking a Branch Manager (m/f/d) for permanent placement at each of the following locations: Hamburg, Mannheim, Karlsruhe, Ulm, Stuttgart, and Nuremberg.
Branch Manager (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a new branch: As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and expanding a new branch at the selected location.
- Team leadership: From the start, you’ll oversee our client’s employees (180 Degree Recruiters and 180 Degree Consultants) who either transfer from other branches or are newly recruited for the location.
- Recruitment and staffing: Once onboard, you will also manage the ongoing recruitment process.
- Accountability for the branch: Take full responsibility for the location’s revenue, budget, and overall performance.
- Strategic planning and market analysis: You’ll contribute to the development of strategies and market analysis.
- Client acquisition: While some client potential is already managed from Berlin, your primary goal is to attract new clients.
- Drive the location’s success: The economic success and positive development of the Hamburg branch are in your hands.
- Lead by example: As a leader, you will be a role model, engaging in direct sales to set a high standard for your team.
- Quality assurance: Ensure the quality standards of the new branch by planning, managing, and overseeing operational activities.Enhance your market value: Work across the three main contract types (Contracting, Temp, and Perm).
- One point of contact: You and your team will act as a “one face to the customer” contact for clients, providing candidates for Perm, Contracting, and Temp positions in the IT sector.
- Be the growth engine: Conduct in-person and digital client meetings, building and expanding your client base and that of your team through networking and active acquisition.
- Customer-oriented: Support and advise clients on the service portfolio or project-related questions.
- Expert negotiator: Lead contract and pricing negotiations to a successful close for both you and your team.
- Collaboration with Sales & Marketing: Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team, allowing your sales staff to focus solely on sales.
- Conserve resources: The client’s recruiting team will handle finding the right IT experts for your clients’ vacancies.
Qualifications:
- Strong theoretical foundation: You have a completed degree or comparable qualification.
- Proven sales experience: With your sales experience in the staffing industry, you engage clients by successfully placing IT experts.
- Leadership experience: Ideally, you have already achieved success with initial recruitment consultants.
- IT expertise: Your IT knowledge allows you to engage meaningfully with candidates and clients.
- Business development expert: Ideally, you have experience building new skills, specialisms, or locations, or you have a strong interest in doing so.
- Proactive and growth-oriented: You’re eager to drive business development and engage proactively with experienced colleagues across locations to learn and grow.
- Language skills: Fluent German and English skills for communication with contacts and experts, along with proficiency in MS Office, complete your profile.
