For a global renewable energy company, operating in 30 countries and employing over 3,500 employees, we are currently looking for:

In-house Legal Counsel Energy (m/f/d)

Your duties:

• You are responsible for the creation, review, and negotiation of (framework) contracts and terms with national and international suppliers as well as customers.
• Ongoing advice to management and local teams on various issues related to national and international trade and distribution of components (e.g., logistics, IP rights, warranties, corporate guarantees, etc.) is part of your responsibilities.
• Among other things, you are in charge of developing, introducing, and negotiating standardized purchasing and sales agreements, as well as creating various types of contracts requested by the business.
• Support for corporate legal actions, national and international M&A activities, and company formations falls within your scope of responsibilities.
• Independent identification and reduction of legal risks in the operations of German and international group companies in the Solar Trade sector, as well as support in implementing internal guidelines and requirements, will be part of your tasks.
• You are responsible for engaging and managing external legal advisors.

Your qualifications:

• You have successfully completed both state examinations.
• You possess the ability to drive topics forward proactively, are service-oriented, and have strong communication skills.
• You bring an understanding of economic contexts, entrepreneurial thinking, and strong negotiation skills, and you are eager to familiarize yourself with new issues and topics.
• You enjoy collaborating in interdisciplinary and international teams and can tailor your advice to meet business requirements.
• You are characterized by flexibility and an efficient work style, can prioritize effectively even under time pressure, and still pay attention to details.
• You are proficient in both German and English, with strong negotiation skills.
• You have at least 3 years of professional experience in a law firm or a company, ideally in the areas of commercial law and general contract law.
